I'm so glad you're here and thank you for choosing to take care of your mind and body by working with me!
The classes are small, your classmates friendly and caring and your teacher has a very down-to-earth attitude and touch of humour.
There is no need to push your body or strain your mind when you attend any of my sessions. I'll encourage you to become aware of your own comfort levels and only do what feels right for you in any given moment. It's all about kind exploration and easing back from the beliefs of our troubled world focused on pushing people beyond their limits to exhaustion and burnout.
I'm a Yoga Alliance registed senior yoga teacher and also a BAMBA accredited teacher of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and paws.b for children. For two decades I've been running classes, workshops, training courses and retreats for adults and young people with a focus on training the mind for resilience in challenging times and treating the body with care and kindness and reminding it of its connection to the natural world. Peace, serenity, joy and a kind mind are what we're aiming for here.
I've completed Counselling Studies training and now continue with my counselling/psychotherapy study as well as training in the ancient wisdom of shamanic practices and ecotherapy.
