During this ‘Mindful Strength mainly Pilates-informed Workshop’ you will practice a variety of Resistance Strength Moves & Exercises to help you build and maintain Inner Stability & Support. As we get older, age-related decline in Muscle Mass and Strength can really impact your quality of daily living. Strong Muscles support your Joint Health and Stability and improve your overall functional movement. Additionally weight-bearing poses help to preserve bone density reducing the risk of osteoporosis. Both Pilates and Yoga emphasise core strength and awareness to your postural alignment, which can alleviate back pain and improve posture. Mindful balances will be included to assist with mental concentration and focus with a nurturing tension-releasing Relaxation to close. PLEASE BRING SMALL HANDWEIGHTS TO THIS EVENT. (eg 0.5kg or 1kg)
PLEASE bring your mat, blanket and SMALL HANDWEIGHTS to this event.
I supply blocks bricks and yogabelts as appropriate.
