Ashtanga

Details

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and structured style of yoga that links breath with movement in a continuous flow. Rooted in traditional teachings and popularised by K. Pattabhi Jois, it follows a set sequence of postures designed to build strength, flexibility, and mental focus.
In an Ashtanga class, you can expect a physically energising practice where each movement is guided by your breath (known as vinyasa). The sequence progresses through standing, seated, and finishing poses, creating a rhythm that helps develop endurance and inner calm. It’s both challenging and meditative, making it suitable for those who enjoy a disciplined yet rewarding practice.
