Young Catholic Adults and Catholic History Pilgrimage to York 21st to 22nd October 2023
Information about Masses - there will be a special Mass either at the Shrine of St. Margaret Clitherow (if less than 30 people attend); or if there are more than 30 then Mass (Old Rite) will be relocated to the Oratory at 11am on Saturday 21st October. Then we will attend the Sunday Mass at 12noon at Oxford Oratory (Old Rite) on Sunday 22nd October.
11.00am Mass either at Shrine or if over 30 people at York Oratory
1pm Lunch at Wetherspoons
2.30pm Visit to the Bar Convent
4pm St. Mary's Abbey
6pm Vespers at the Shrine of St. Margaret Clitherow
6.30pm social – Eagle and Child pub
9am Free time - chance to explore sites of York
12.00pm Mass at York Oratory
1.30pm lunch - finish at Guy Fawkes pub
*Please note for those who can stay later there is Solemn Vespers at the Oratory at 4pm.
Please note that this is not a campus event, so you you will have to organise your own food and accommodation and pay your own charge for entry into the Bar Convent and St. Mary's Abbey:-
