Hello,
We are The Parenting Collective CIC.
We run Pre and Postnatal support groups facilitated by professionals offering parenting support in and around Greater Manchester for families from all backgrounds.

Who Are we?

Sessions are facilitated by us - professionals with lived experience of Birth Trauma, PTSD, PND, Feelings of being excluded and Isolation amongst other issues.

• Lydia - A Carrying Consultant with a background in child development and behaviour, Psychology and Counselling
• Kirsty - A Carrying Consultant, Trained Breastfeeding Counsellor with a background in Communication and Linguistics in British Sign Language
• Katy - A Carrying Consultant and Registered Midwife and Infant Feeding Specialist Midwife
• Shelly - A Carrying Consultant, Babywearing with movement expert and Our Events Organiser

What is Cake For Breakfast Club©?

Courses and Social Sessions for up to 10 families to attend in your local community run by professionals.
ALL sessions include free refreshments of tea, coffee, biscuits and of course cake. 



Courses are 5 to 6 weeks long
Each week we will cover a different topic or theme:

• What is the Fourth Trimester?;
• Unpacking Birth;
• Mental Wellbeing Check in;
• Safe Babywearing and Social meet up;
• Feeding;

Social Sessions
Weekly sessions with no need to commit with access to the following:

• A warm and welcoming Community
• Light Refreshments
• Babywearing Advice and a Pop up Sling Library
• Feeding advice from trained peer supporters, Breastfeeding counsellor and professionals
• A chance to experience our Mama and Me Mindful Babywearing Dance Classes

Who can attend?

These groups are for anyone with young children even if your little one hasn’t arrived yet. Come along and be part of the community in a safe, relaxed, non-judgemental environment.

SLING LIBRARY

• We travel around Greater Manchester providing safe sling and baby carrier advice and hires, to families. Our Sling Library sessions are run by our Carrying Consultants and Peer supporters.

MAMA AND ME MINDFUL BABYWEARING DANCE AND SOCIALS
-We have a variety of dance classes around the Greater Manchester area, classes are held by trained babywearing Peer supporters and Consultants.
-We host regular social events throughout the year.
