Our Clay Club is ideal for experienced potters looking for a fully equipped, creative space to work. Whether you need access to professional equipment or a peaceful environment to hone your craft, Lovebird Studios provides everything you need.

Membership Benefits:

• Flexible Access: Enjoy access to the studio from 9am to 9pm, giving you plenty of time to work on your projects.

• Studio Availability: The studio is open 3 days a week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday) with a maximum of 12 hours per week, offering the flexibility to fit around your schedule.

• Fully Equipped: Access to pottery wheels, hand-building tools, and all necessary equipment for your projects.

• Generous Storage: Ample shelving space, including a dedicated personal shelf for your work in progress.

• Clay Supply: High-quality stoneware clay available at £4.50 per kilo. Specialist clays are also available on request.

• Studio Clay Policy: All clay used in the studio must be purchased from Lovebird Studios to ensure compatibility with our firing temperatures and kiln programmes.

• Glazing & Firing: Reasonable use of studio and household glazes is included, and firings are covered in the clay price, making it simple to complete your work.

• Technical Support: Onsite technical advice is available to assist with any challenges you may encounter.

• Exhibition Opportunities: Participate in two annual exhibitions, giving you the chance to showcase your work.

Getting Started:

Before joining The Clay Club, you’ll need to attend a site visit and studio induction to familiarise yourself with the space and equipment. Whether you’re looking to expand your skills or explore new techniques, the Clay Club at Lovebird Studios offers the perfect environment to support your creative journey.
