Essex County Scouts Volunteering Development Team Refund Policy
All payments for events are considered as non-refundable after the closing date of the event.
Refunds may be considered only at our discretion, in limited circumstances such as:
• The event is cancelled
• Unforeseen serious ill health (supporting evidence may be requested)
Refunds will not normally be provided for changes in personal circumstances, non-attendance, or partial attendance.
Refunds will not be issued where non-attendance arises from a breach of the policies, rules, or code of conduct of The Scout Association.
Any refund issued will be limited to recoverable costs only. We are unable to refund any costs that have already been committed or spent.
All refund decisions are final.
