Whether you’re looking for yoga classes, movement classes, courses, or one-to-one yoga therapy sessions to support your health and wellbeing, we’ve got something special to offer. From weekly yoga classes and meditation workshops to our transformative 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course (accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals), our aim is to support your journey to a more balanced, calm, and empowered life.

At Life On Pointe, you’ll find a unique blend of yoga inspired by Sun Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Personal Training and Body Conditioning, all enriched by the discipline and grace of Ballet and a love for movement.

Our approach to yoga is rooted in the traditional 8 limbs of yoga—nourishing mind, body, and spirit—and always taught with an eye for detail, safety, and alignment.

Meet your teachers:

Hi!
*My name is Cheryl Wimperis, founder of Life On Pointe. I am a Sun Power Yoga Teacher, and Trainer Pro (Yoga Alliance Professionals), and formerly a professional ballerina Royal Ballet trained, Personal Trainer and Nutritionist and bring over 25 years of teaching experience and more than 15 years of dedicated yoga teaching and practice. I love all things that move our body, mind and soul, and care about providing a safe and inclusive space for people to come, breathe together and reconnect more deeply with ourselves.

I qualified as a Sun Power Yoga teacher, taught by Anne-Marie Newland who transformed thousands of lives through her exceptional training school. Her teachings offered a deeply authentic approach to yoga; a blend of Sivananda, for breath work (pranayama), Iyengar, for alignment and Ashtanga Vinyasa (asana) for flow.

The depth of knowledge she shared with me is something I hold with great respect, and I am committed to passing it on to you with the same care, passion, and integrity. My passion lies in sharing authentic, science informed, transformational yoga that creates real change — from the inside out, and will leave you feeling both energized, renewed and rejuvenated.

*Nilesh Hatha is a seasoned martial artist with decades of teaching experience in karate which brings a unique approach to his yoga practice. Qualified as a 500-hour RYT Yoga Alliance Teacher he integrates martial arts techniques with yoga, weaving in philosophical insights to nurture both physical and mental development.
In Nilesh’s classes, you'll experience a supportive, inclusive atmosphere where judgment has no place and every individual is celebrated. His passion is to help others begin their own yoga journey, offering guidance as they grow and transform through their practice.

*Sherraine Morris has a background in Contemporary & Commercial Dance, so moving into Yoga was a natural progression for her. Sherraine has been teaching Adults and Children’s Yoga since 2015. Qualified as a Sun Power Yoga Teacher, Yoga and holistic therapies have changed her life, and she wants to share that passion with everyone in her classes, helping people to feel their best selves and to also create a sense of community with others.
Her personal mantra is Yoga is for “every body” . My classes are inclusive and will provide modifications where needed, so people of all ages and abilities can be part of the class.
