Nina Stubbs 5Rhythms
If you're thinking about booking your first 5Rhythms class, you might be wondering whether it's for you.
The answer is simple... if you have a body, you're welcome.
You don't need to know how to dance. There are no steps to learn, no mirrors and no judgement. Just an invitation to move in your own way, at your own pace. Below are a few questions people often ask before coming along.
Who is 5Rhythms for?
Anyone with a body is welcome. You don't need to be fit, flexible or coordinated. Most classes are suitable for people aged 15+, and you're always encouraged to listen to your body, moving, resting or pausing whenever you need to.
What if I think I can't dance?
Nearly everyone says this before their first class. This isn't about performing or getting it right. It's about listening to your body and allowing it to move in whatever way feels natural. You might be surprised how quickly self-consciousness begins to melt away.
Is 5Rhythms therapy?
No. 5Rhythms isn't therapy, and I'm not a therapist. It is an embodied movement practice that many people find deeply supportive and restorative. If you have any physical or mental health concerns, or you're unsure whether it's right for you, please get in touch before booking.
I'd love to welcome you to the dance floor.
