Acorn Play

Welcome to Acorn Play 🍃🐿️

Outdoor play, adventure and learning for children and families

🍃 What is Acorn Play?

Acorn Play is a Forest School-inspired outdoor play and learning group for children of all ages. We offer relaxed woodland sessions where children can play, explore, discover and learn through nature. We run sessions throughout the holidays, including Adventure Plus+ for children aged 5+, as well as seasonal sessions at the woodland and The Elk Tipi at Elkstone Studios.

🍃 Our aim

Our aim is simple: to get children outdoors and help them develop a love of nature. Through play and adventure, children can build confidence, independence and new skills, while enjoying time outdoors with others.

🍃 Who is Acorn Play?

Acorn Play was founded in 2024 by Hannah, an experienced Infant Teacher and Forest School Leader with a passion for learning through play and being outdoors. Sessions include storytelling, singing, bushcraft, movement, tool work and campfires, depending on the age and session.

🍃 Booking

Regular sessions allow children to become familiar with the woodland, build confidence and develop friendships. We recommend a block booking, which offers discount, but you are also welcome to drop in.
