Little Twigs L'boro: Forest School Inspired Woodland Playgroup

🌿Welcome to Little Twigs! 🌿
🍄A woodland playgroup designed to encourage your little ones to enjoy time outside while getting creative and exploring a range of activities. Play sessions are planned to support your child's development in a range of ways whilst encouraging children to connect with nature and spend time exploring and being creative outside. Play is free flow and child led.

🌟 What to Expect in a Session
Each session includes a variety of activities, all set outdoors:

🌿Time to explore a variety of woodland stations and sensory play 👣🍃
🌿Messy play with paint, mud, and natural materials 🎨🌿
🌿Outdoor play with sand and diggers 🏗️🚗
🌿Creative activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and imagination ✨
🌿Opportunities for bonding, social interaction, and connection with nature 💚

We always finish sessions together with songs together. You are welcome to bring snacks along for your child to have during the session and there are always hot drinks available for adults. It is all very relaxed - never worry about arriving late or if you need to leave early. Take it all at your own pace!

👩 About Me
Hi, I’m Kate! As a mother of three — a 4 - year-old boy and twin girls aged two — I understand the joys and challenges of raising young children. That’s why I created Little Twigs: to offer a nurturing space where families can connect with nature, play, and be part of a supportive community.

My background includes:
A degree in Primary Education
A Master’s in Education & Pedagogy
15 years of primary teaching experience
Currently training to become a Level 3 Forest School leader
Certified in outdoor and paediatric first aid

I believe there is real magic in playing and spending time together outside, connecting with the natural world. There really is no better way to boost wellbeing for you and your child 🌿✨
