Welcome to Periplus Yoga

Welcome to Periplus Yoga. Periplus means a voyage or navigation in ancient times. Start your yoga voyage and feel the many benefits in your life.

Yoga is about the union of your body, mind, and breath. Come along to these small, friendly and easy-going yoga classes to enhance your range of movement, improve your mental well-being, and enrich your quality of life. Expect gentle yet strengthening postures and rich guided meditations with a focus on visualisations.

All welcome, including beginners - all poses will be fully explained.

About Christopher - I am a yogi in training with Newcastle School of Yoga (qualifying in November 2026). My approach is gentle and relaxing with focus on the breath and featuring calming meditation in savasana.

About Peter - I take a relaxed approach to yoga (and don’t take myself too seriously 🤪). Having hurt my back over 15 years ago, I started doing yoga and have found it remarkably useful in many different ways ever since. Why not give it a try?
