About Lyn Bowers

I’ve been training dogs for over 30 years, and I’ve owned and trained many breeds including Border Collies, Belgian Malinois and GSD’s. I’ve trained dogs for obedience, flyball, agility, rally and scentwork trials and have enjoyed competing with them. I am a fully qualified trainer and canine behavioural consultant and an instructor for the UK KCGCDS, training dogs in all levels of the award and was Listed Status Club of the Year in 2020.

My passion is scent detection and I’ve been privileged to work with and handle both explosive detection dogs, screening air cargo for bombs, and bedbug detection dogs, searching for bedbugs in hotels.

We offer workshops and training sessions and use motivational, reward-based methods to achieve training success for you and your dog.

Refund policy

Event cancelled by Scent Dog Training - full refunds will be given.
Client cancellations - The following refund policy will apply:-
• More than 14 days prior to the date – a £2.50 cancellation fee will be charged and the remainder of the balance will be refunded.
• 7-14 days prior to the date – we will not be able to refund unless we are able to fill the space within the time frame. If we do fill the space, a £2.50 cancellation fee will be charged and the remainder of the balance will be refunded.
• Less than 7 days prior to the date – we will not be able to refund unless we are able to fill the space within the time frame. If we do fill the space, a £5.00 cancellation fee will be charged and the remainder of the balance will be refunded.
