As part of Nutrition initiative, join Brigitte Kaviani for an exciting live cook along session where we will cook a delicious and a healthy meal!. Musakhan is a chicken dish made with pitta bread / naan bread cooked with sumac and other spices, which will go alongside the famous Taboule salad made the Palestinian style.
Brigitte works as a Programme Director for People Experience at NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.
The session will focus on using fresh, wholesome ingredients to create a main course and side salad. Salad is a great lunch option for the next day.
Whether you are a seasoned cook or a beginner, this interactive class will guide you step-by-step through the cooking process, ensuring you leave with satisfying recipes that you can easily recreate at home. The recipe will be simple to follow.

Fine bulgur wheat (a small packet sold in supermarkets eg. tesco
Tomatoes (large x 3)
Cucumber - 1 large
spring onions - 1 bunch
French parsley - 2 large bunches
Lemons - 4
Olive oil
Salt
Musakhan- A delicious and traditional chicken dish, perfectly flavoured and roasted
2 large chicken legs on bone (cooked)
4 large white onions
Spices - black pepper, salt, sumac
Olive oil
Plain naan bread or pitta bread
