I am a Pilates and Yoga teacher and Physical Therapist specialising in remedial and rehabilitation techniques.
What is Pilates? Pilates is a form of mind/body movement conditioning and rehabiliation. It was developed by Joseph Pilates over 100 years ago and has been used consistently since then to help people become stronger, more flexible and body aware. Pilates exercises can be adapted to cater to everyone, no matter their age, experience or fitness level. In my classes I use large and small pieces of equipment that were developed by Joseph Pilates to make his method of exercises accessible.
