BIRTH YOUR OWN SHAMANIC DRUM
Step into a sacred space and birth your own shamanic drum a powerful healing tool and spiritual companion that will carry your energy, story, and intention for years to come.
Over the course of six immersive hours (maybe slightly longer) you’ll be guided through every stage of the drum-making process, using an oak wood frame and natural goat skin. As you create you will infuse your drum with your own spirit, crafting a unique heartbeat that you can journey with in many ways.
A shamanic drum is more than a musical instrument it’s a tool for connection, transformation, and healing. Its steady, rhythmic beat mirrors the heartbeat of the Earth, helping to quiet the mind, open the heart, and guide us into deep states of presence.
Across many cultures from the ancient Celtic traditions of the British Isles to tribes in the Americas drums have been used in ceremony, ritual, and meditation. While the styles and traditions vary, the essence is the same: the drum is a bridge, linking us to nature, to each other, and to the deeper layers of ourselves.
The vibration of a shamanic drum isn’t just heard it’s felt. The sound travels through the body, resonating in our bones and cells, inviting release, insight, and connection. Whether played alone, in a circle, or as part of a guided journey, the drum becomes an ally a living heartbeat that supports personal growth, creativity, and spiritual exploration.

About your guide
Dan is a breathwork teacher, ceremonial guide and space-holder with a deep love for creating experiences that reconnect people to themselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
My path has been shaped by years of working with transformational practices , mens work breathwork and sound to movement and ceremony.
Dan had birthed many of my own drums and different ceremonies and have made an created , and also created bespoked drums on requested as well as offering private session
The shamanic drum has always held a special place in my heart for its ability to carry us into deep stillness, insight, and connection.
Holding this Drum Birthing day is an honour. I’ll guide you through each step of the journey, from the first breath of intention to the moment you hear the first heartbeat of your finished drum ensuring the process feels both grounded and sacred.

Come as you are - everyone is welcome here ❤️
Please bring some water to keep you hydrated and wear what feels like love to you.
All other equipment needed will be provided by your class teacher but you are welcome to bring anything else you find supports your practice.
We ask if you can arrive 10 minutes before your class if possible.

Lateness, Refund and Cancellation Policy

A polite note on lateness
We ask you to arrive 10 minutes early for your class or workshop.
A lot of our classes take place when the coffee shop is closed, and therefore for security and safety of everyone, the door has to be locked a moment before the start of class, so everyone can settle in and the class can begin on time.
By showing up early to class, it gives you time to park your car and give yourself a moment to let go of whatever happened before you arrived. Start being early to the important things in your life and see what happens!
If you arrive after the class has started and the door is locked, entrance will not be permitted. This unfortunately means your late arrival will be treated as a late cancellation/no show and a refund/transfer will not be issued.
Bookings and Cancellation Policy
Please be aware that all class bookings - either single tickets and class passes - are non refundable, unless we (Transcend) have to cancel a class or workshop for unforeseen circumstances.
Transcend Studios reserves the right to cancel a class or workshop at short notice for unforeseen circumstances. Although this is very rare, as much notice as possible will be given, we will either rearrange to the next class or workshop scheduled for you, or provide you with a refund.
We understand that cancellations are sometimes unavoidable – but cancelling late or not attending at all often stops other students from booking places in that class. If you cancel a class booking within 24 hours of the class start time, the class will not be credited back to your account or refunded.
We do however accept transfers up to 24 hours in advance of your class/workshop start time. You can transfer your own sessions up to 24 hours before the session on our booking system.
No refunds will be given for late cancellations, no-shows, early departure from classes, unused tickets or expired class passes.
