Over this energising, fun and calming course, you will learn…
Two basic yoga flows that are easy to remember and do at home
Different ‘modifications’ to the postures using various props and things you can use at home to either deepen your posture or make it more gentle on the body
A basic intro to yoga philosophy and some key Sanskrit words
An intro to meditation including a variety of techniques you can use at home to down or up-regulate your nervous system
You’ll be given a list of recommended reading material, a set of mala beads, a workbook with some prompts for home practice and journaling in between classes, you’ll be added to a Watsapp group to share your progress and thoughts along the way, and you’ll be given 1 x 30 minute 1:1 Zoom call with me (Bethan) to ask any questions and dive a little deeper into your practice!
By the end of this course you should feel more confident to safely begin a home practice of your own, and have some go-to tools to assist you in stilling the mind and moving energy through the body.
