We are The Parenting Collective CIC, we travel around Greater Manchester providing safe sling and baby carrier advice and hires, to families. Our Sling Library sessions are run by our Carrying Consultants and Peer supporters.

How can you access the Sling Library?

SLING LIBRARY DROP-IN SESSIONS (Free*)

• This is a 10-15 minute appointment with one of our trained consultants.
• You will have the option to have a quick fit check in your own carrier (support with your own carrier is £7) or try on one carrier out of a choice of two, after which you will have the option to hire.

We will cover:

• Parent facing Front carries,
• Forward/ World facing (where appropriate)
• Hip carries
• Back carrying and advanced woven wear is not covered in a drop-in session. Please book on to a 1:1 Consultation or a workshop.

1:1 CONSULTATION

• A one to one session is an in-depth session, tailored for you and your child’s needs.
• You will work with a consultant to try something specific to your individual needs and requirements.
• In your own home

GROUP WORKSHOPS (£30 for two hour session)**

• You will learn to develop a specific skill or gain knowledge on a carrying style in a 2 hour session with at least two other families.
