Feeling in need of a break from the everyday? Then this is the space for you.
Self Care Sunday is an invitation to step away from your commitments and focus on filling your own cup. Think of this as a mini-spa break for your mind and body.
As the seasons begin to shift, our focus naturally draws inwards, offering the chance to tend to our own needs and nourish our spirits.
Together we will enjoy a grounding tea meditation to settle in to the morning. Taking time to sip and savour as we focus on leaving the lists and being in the moment.
After this it's time for a guided exploration of chocolate and yin yoga. Harnessing the antioxidants present in chocolate, we will pair this with a nurturing yin yoga practice to enhance the wellness experience. This is where ancient wisdom and modern science meet to create a stress busting combination.
We will end our time with some ear seeds to support digestion, and journaling prompts to help continue the self care theme into the rest of the week.
What to bring - please bring your own mug/cup for the tea ceremony, and a journal or notebook to take any notes.
What to wear - please wear something loose, which allows you to move comfortably. Layers are a good idea, as you will cool down during relaxation.
Where is this - The Ripple Effect Wellbeing Centre is on Main Street, Holytown. It's in the building marked Vaughn Boxing Gym, and it's just down the road from Boots chemist (this is where you can park.)
Anything else I need to know - this experience is all about switching off, unwinding and taking time for ourselves. It's a gift you are giving to yourself, so please come ready to focus on your own wellness.
