If you haven’t been to a Pole class before, I am sure you have lots of questions. Most importantly – what should I wear? We do the majority of classes in bare feet and shorts. We wear shorts, simply because bare legs are perfect for grip on a pole. It is however, much more important that you feel comfortable within yourself, so you can wear leggings or tracksuit bottoms, it’s entirely up to you. The studios are air conditioned, but we recommend a vest top with a t-shirt over the top, in case it gets a little warm and we also suggest bringing a sweater or hoodie for cool downs. For those that will wear shorts, you can take your leggings/tracksuit bottoms off in the studio during class, so no need to walk into the club with bare legs!! If you do have a pair of trainers please bring them along, as we do cardio based warm ups and it’s better to have your feet well supported for these types of higher impact warm up.
We also have to ask that you either leave your jewellery at home (rings and bracelets most importantly), or for your rings to be taped up, as they scratch and damage the poles, which in turn will cause injury to your hands. For hygiene reasons please take a small towel or cloth, so that you can wipe down the pole after use, as your hands will get a little sweaty!
