DERWENT ACCESS SUNDAY JULY 13TH We would like to make visitors to Derwent Waterside Park aware of parking and access restrictions that will be occurring on Sunday 13 July due to a Triathlon event taking place around the reservoir.
The event starts at 8.00am and finishes around 2pm so car parks and a section of the south shore for anglers will be closed for the duration.
There will be no access to south shore dam wall car park, as the access roads to these will be closed for the duration of the event.
As participants will be completing a swim course there will no access for bank fishing from the south for 150 meters from the dam wall.
For anglers to gain access to the south shore of the reservoir on the day, and for anyone wishing to enjoy the walks available, car parks will be open at Pow Hill.
