Waterside Parks North

Fontburn Reservoir will be closed for Angling from Monday 16 September 2024 and will reopen in March 2025.
We need to carry out some essential works to the reservoir to ensure we provide our customers with the highest levels of water quality and customer service well into the future from our onsite treatment works.
The works involves closing access to the north shore and drawdown of the reservoir. All of our other stocked trout waters remain open as normal.
We would like to thank our customer for their understanding whilst we complete these works.

Whittle Dene Please note only the Northern Reservoir is accessible due to water levels on the others.

*Please note - Due to low water levels at Hury Reservoir, the disable platform is not accessible at this time. Alternatively, please use Grassholme Reservoir*

Coarse Fishing - In the interest of fish welfare during hot weather, please make sure that you use a keep net of a minimum size of 3 metres in length.
