Fontburn, Grassholme and Hury Reservoirs Closed - We thank all of our anglers for their custom during the 2025 season. Fontburn, Grassholme and Hury are now all closed for Winter, and will re-open in Spring 2026. Date to be confirmed. Derwent remains open for both Trout and Coarse/Pike angling.

Whittle Dene Reservoirs - All lakes open as usual

Derwent Reservoir - open for both Trout and Coarse/Pike angling, with Trout fishing now operating with our reduced Winter Permit prices. Important update for anglers Derwent Reservoir preseason stocking date. We would like to advise our anglers a change to our stocking date at Derwent Reservoir. Please note due to circumstances beyond our control our first large preseason stocking of prime rainbow trout will now happen on Tuesday 3 March 2026.
Winter permit rates will remain online and in the shop until midnight Monday 2 March 2026. Prices will increase to normal rates from Tuesday 3 March 2026.

Coarse Fishing - In the interest of fish welfare during hot weather, please make sure that you use a keep net of a minimum size of 3 metres in length.
