Derwent -Important Car Park Notice:
On September 12th, Derwent will host the Walk for Wags charity event, featuring 3km and 8km walking routes. Please be advised that parking will be limited due to this event, with the access road up to the Northside closed and will be restricted parking available onsite. We will be open for Anglers to purchase permits and bait/tackle as normal.
Alternative parking options will be available on the Southside of the Dam and Millshields. 🐩🐕🐕🦺🚶🏼♀️
Derwent -Pike Update: We are having to postpone the Deadbait season for Pike on Derwent (was due to reopen Sept 1st),With the water temperature being warmer than expected for this time of year
Hury - Is currently closed due to ongoing works
Grassholme - Prior to booking , please be advised that Signal Crayfish can be found within the reservoir, As of Friday August 21st, we'll be going to 8:30pm closing.
Whittle Dene Reservoirs - Due to construction works, Access to the carparks and north lakes are via B6318 only, All lakes are open as usual.
Scaling Dam - Please be advised that fishing is currently closed at Scaling Dam Reservoir due to uneven surfaces on the dam wall, which may pose a risk of slips, trips, or falls. we would also like to inform you the circular footpath at Scaling Dam will be closed for one month due to essential maintenance work. However, Lockwood Beck remains open for Coarse fishing as usual
Selset - Due to unforeseen circumstances, our main car park will be closed temporarily to facilitate necessary maintenance. But can advise the spillway car park will remain open.
Coarse Fishing - In the interest of fish welfare during hot weather, please make sure that you use a keep net of a minimum size of 3 metres in length.
